Baby Steps has officially been released, opening up the game to a wider audience. PlayStation supports small projects, and Baby Steps has received help not only through promotional materials.
The developers and publisher Devolver Digital decided to celebrate the launch on a grand scale: in addition to the premiere trailer, they made it possible for more players to evaluate the product.
Access to the game:
- PS5 owners with a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription can try out an hour of gameplay in the trial version;
- All PlayStation Plus subscribers, as well as Steam users, received a 10% discount on the purchase of the full version.
Thus, the developers simultaneously attract new players and give them the opportunity to evaluate the project for free, stimulating interest and sales.
At the time of publication, the game has 74% on Opencritic and 91% positive reviews on Steam after 80+ opinions.
