During a recent presentation dedicated to the anniversary of Kojima Productions, the first gameplay trailer for the horror game OD was shown. The head of the studio and visionary Hideo Kojima also said that he would like to scan a real ghost for his game, and then receive an award for it. Kojima expressed a desire to travel around the world in search of "creepy places" for inspiration.
In OD, I want to travel around the world, to places where there is something scary. I want to scan a ghost for the first time and get an award for it.
In addition, Kojima mentioned an unusual "crackling sound" recorded in the studio, hinting at the possible presence of supernatural entities in the OD development process. If the ghost was really in the studio, then it is no longer there, because, as Kojima says, Kojima Productions, together with representatives of Microsoft, visited a Shinto temple to perform a purification ritual. The genius said that this was done to create a "safe build of the game."
The Genius did not explain why Kojima banished the ghost from his studio if he wanted to scan it.
