Recently, various insiders have become active, talking about God of War in Egypt, as well as a smaller-scale 2.5D Metroidvania project based on the franchise.
As a result, some expected big announcements from the recent State of Play, but in the end, after the presentation of the God of War controller, no new game was shown.
