Remedy is not giving up on its attempts to revive its cooperative shooter.
Remedy Entertainment has announced its intention to release the first major update for FBC: Firebreak on September 29, called Breakpoint. It will include various system changes, balance adjustments, and improvements.
The update will feature a new mission in the Research Sector, where players will face a mold infection, new enemies, and a dangerous condition that adds unique challenges.
The new Crisis Board replaces the old task board, offering dynamic and less predictable missions that enhance the feeling of an "operational response." The board simultaneously offers four to six crises, including full runs, short tasks, or missions with random rewards, objectives, and durations. The board is updated every 30 minutes.
The update will also expand the arsenal and the number of available modifications, rework the economy, and add new enemies.
