Many diverse add-ons have been released for the game. Now you can get temporary access to them at a low price.
Recently, the authors of Payday 2 introduced a subscription for additional content. For a (relatively) small sum, a player can get temporary access to cosmetic content, an expanded arsenal, and various heists.
Earlier this month, the Payday 2 edition with the complete DLC collection, Infamous Collection, increased by $50. Since many already have the game and DLC in their libraries, they didn't pay much attention to it until the subscription appeared, but now questions have arisen for Starbreeze Studios. Speculation began that this was a way to push users to purchase the subscription.
The developers explained that it was a mistake and reduced the price to the previous level ($118):
«We have reviewed the feedback regarding the price change for the Infamous Collection that occurred earlier this month, and we have investigated. Prices have been returned to their original value, and we apologize for this error.»
