Developers have fixed some issues.
The full release of EA Sports FC 26 is expected on September 26, and for now, premium edition owners are playing. The developers have introduced update 1.0.2, which contains a number of gameplay improvements and more.
Some changes:
- Improvements to AI attackers, for example, the frequency of jerks into the penalty area for wingers (extreme flank attacker) has been increased;
- Improved understanding of offside among teammates.
- Fixed cases where players did not run into open space when it could be useful.
- Improved player positioning when playing with a shallow depth of defense so they don't have to move too high up the field
- False fullbacks (extreme defenders) now "more intelligently move into defense to better support the defensive formation"
- The goalkeeper's jump indicator now shows where the shot was taken from.
- Fixed cases where ground passes unexpectedly left the ball behind the intended receiver.
- Troubleshooting login issues with Ultimate Team
- (PC) Changing display settings in borderless mode should no longer result in performance loss
- (PC) Fixed several cases where gamepads did not recognize input signals.
