The developers have fixed some issues.
The full release of EA Sports FC 26 is expected on September 26, and in the meantime, premium edition owners are playing. The developers have introduced update 1.0.2, containing a number of gameplay improvements and more.
Some changes:
- Improvements to AI attackers, for example, the frequency of winger runs into the penalty area has been increased (extreme flank attacker);
- Improved understanding of offside by teammates.
- Fixed cases where players did not run into open space when it could have been useful.
- Improved player positioning when playing with a shallow defensive depth, so they don't have to push too high up the field
- False fullbacks (extreme defenders) now "more intelligently transition into defense to better support the defensive shape"
- The goalkeeper jump indicator now shows where the shot was taken from.
- Fixed cases where ground passes unexpectedly left the ball behind the intended receiver.
- Eliminated issues with entering Ultimate Team
- (PC) Changing display settings in borderless mode should no longer result in performance loss
- (PC) Fixed several cases where gamepads did not recognize input signals.
