Especially for Tolkienists, fans of "The Lord of the Rings" film trilogy, and hobbit enthusiasts, Weta Workshop will release a diorama of "The Green Dragon" inn in 2026.
Weta Workshop has prepared a rather unusual gift for fans of "The Lord of the Rings" universe. It announced that pre-orders have opened for the "Green Dragon" diorama. This refers to the inn and favorite meeting place of hobbits in the Shire.
Currently, such a collectible item, made of polystone, polyurethane, and metal, can be purchased for $799 (approximately 67 thousand rubles, limited to 600 copies). Its width is 53 cm, height is 14.5 cm, depth is 33 cm, and weight is 7.8 kg.
Thanks to original drawings, reference materials from the set of "The Lord of the Rings" film trilogy, and images, sculptors Charlotte Key, Shanti Costar, and Sean Bolton were able to accurately recreate the details of this inn.
In addition, there is LED lighting that mimics the flickering light of the hearth in the windows and the soft glow from the lanterns. The release of this diorama is expected in the first quarter of 2026.
