Weta Workshop opened pre-orders today not only for the diorama of the "Green Dragon" inn, but also for a miniature Smaug skull from "The Hobbit" film trilogy.
People wishing to buy it will have to pay $149 (approximately 12-13 thousand rubles). The height of this collectible item, made of polystone and polyurethane, is 20 cm, width - 19.8 cm, depth - 26.5 cm, weight - 0.89 kg.
Such a trophy can be displayed with an open jaw to convey the roar that shook the Lonely Mountain, or with a closed jaw to capture its grim and menacing stillness.
The teeth, jagged and curved back, retain traces of gold fused into the enamel. This was the result of prolonged contact between the treasury on which Smaug slept and the heat of his breath. The miniature skull is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2026.
