The release of the full version of EFT is gradually approaching.
Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov is promoting Escape from Tarkov at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. The creator talked about some plans and answered a number of questions.
Fans from the community "Tarkov Metamovement" cite many of his remarks, for example, Nikita spoke about the "open world of Tarkov".
This idea is still in the plans, but for now the developers are facing technical limitations. He also noted that "the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will begin to patrol other locations and will not attack the BEAR PMC".
Buyanov also mentioned a "softcore" wipe, which may be carried out before the release of Escape from Tarkov: if it takes place, players will be offered accelerated leveling and a minimum of "tedious" restrictions.
