NVIDIA video card owners continue to face difficulties in some games.
Genshin Impact developers have taken note of community feedback. Recently, PC players have been experiencing launch issues. They were using NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 and GeForce RTX 40 series video cards.
miHoYo (HoYoverse) released a special statement and shared the results of studying the problem:
«An investigation into the problem revealed that it may be caused by the AI frame generation function of Nvidia graphics cards.»
There are 2 ways to fix Genshin Impact:
- in the NVIDIA APP application, select the "Graphics" section, go to the "Global settings" tab and disable "Smooth motion".
- check the installation path of the game and loader on the PC — make sure that only Latin letters are used in the name of the installation directory and there are no special characters.
