The new horror game from Capcom is set to release in February 2026.
Resident Evil Requiem demonstrates surprisingly high-quality graphics on the Nintendo Switch 2. This is according to Famitsu, whose journalists were able to test the game in portable mode alongside the PlayStation 5 version. According to the journalist, the demo version presented at TGS (the same one shown at Gamescom) retains the atmosphere and quality of the gameplay on the Nintendo Switch 2, not significantly inferior to other platforms, even in portable mode.
In addition to Famitsu, Shacknews and Coelho no Japão tested the game on the Nintendo Switch 2, publishing gameplay recordings on their YouTube channels.
It is assumed that Requiem runs on Switch 2 with an unlocked frame rate, like some other games on RE Engie.
