It recently became known that the creators of Genshin Impact are preparing competitors to Pokemon and Animal Crossing. Now Tencent has joined the race.
The Chinese corporation showed a demo version of Animula Nook at TGS 2025. The game is made in a style reminiscent of Nintendo projects, and is clearly aimed at the same audience.
To release Animula Nook, Tencent founded the LilliLandia Games studio several years ago. Now the team is completing the development of a free "life simulator", which is positioned as a relaxing project. The game has already appeared in the trailer, and now viewers have been shown full gameplay. A demo version is available at the exhibition, from which more than eight minutes of recording have been published.
Animula Nook has already received a Steam page. The release is planned for Switch 2, PS5 and PC, but the exact release date has not yet been announced.
