Starting today, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can try out a new game as part of the service — the adventures of Lara Croft.
Lara has long been considered one of the most recognizable heroines in gaming history. Crystal Dynamics has been working on a new, mysterious installment in the series for several years, but there has been no official announcement yet. Now, fans of the archaeologist girl can return to her past adventures through the Microsoft service.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is available in all three subscription options (Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard) and works on consoles of two generations and PC.
In the game, you can control Lara and her ally Totec, a Mayan warrior, to jointly search for the ancient artifact Mirror of Smoke. The gameplay combines classic elements of the series — exploration, puzzle solving, and platforming challenges — with dynamic battles, a character development system, cooperative and competitive modes.
