Nintendo has announced the establishment of Nintendo Singapore, a new division in the Republic of Singapore, to accelerate the development of its business in Southeast Asia.
Nintendo Singapore is headed by Managing Director Takahiro Miura. The company's authorized capital is 8 million Singapore dollars (6.2 million US dollars).
The new division will be an important step in strengthening Nintendo's position in the Asian market, and the company also announced its intention to open a division in Thailand.
