The 89-year-old blogger said that she is tired of making videos about Skyrim and does not enjoy it. Her decision was also influenced by the audience: it seems that most of the viewers are now "very young children."
Comments on her videos mainly come down to "greetings" or declarations of love, and the content itself is practically not discussed — this is not what she "spent her time creating and publishing videos" for.
Shirley is not planning to end her career on YouTube completely yet, but it is unknown whether she will ever return with a new Skyrim video (she had previously stopped releasing videos, but then started making content again).
