The release of the mountaineering simulator from The Game Bakers studio has been postponed from the end of 2025 to the first quarter of 2026. In Cairn, players will take on the role of Aava, a professional female climber who is trying to reach a summit considered unattainable.
Creative Director Emeric Thoa noted in a press release:
"We are conducting many playtests, and player feedback confirms that Cairn is something special. We also see how many more improvements we can make to make the experience truly unforgettable. After 5 years of work, there is no point in rushing, we want to be proud of the final version."
On October 13, 2025, the game will receive an updated demo version. It will feature a ghost function of other players, allowing you to arrange races to the top of Mount Tenzen.
The demo has already been tried by more than 600 thousand people, and it received "very positive" ratings on Steam.
