Lizardcube and Sega have brought Joe Musashi back in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance — a Metroidvania-style action game that has received high praise from critics. But even if many players have managed to reach the finale, there's more to come.
In early 2026, the Sega Villains Stage DLC will be released (included in the Deluxe Edition). It was previously confirmed that Sonic's main enemy, Dr. Eggman, would appear in it. Now, another iconic antagonist has joined the list — Death Adder from Golden Axe. It seems players are in for a kind of "best of" Sega villains who will face the fury of the ninja.
The DLC is scheduled for release in early 2026. So far, the developers have only released a short teaser featuring the design of one of the upcoming bosses.
