Bloober Team is no longer responsible for the project.
Now Konami, not Bloober Team, is responsible for fixing Silent Hill 2's performance issues on the PS5 Pro console. Developers at Bloober Team stated that all questions are "under Konami's purview" when answering questions about optimizing the game for the console, hinting that they are no longer involved in these fixes.
In May, the Polish studio reported that it was working with the publisher to resolve the issue and would share details as soon as they became available. Now, however, Bloober Team is redirecting all questions to Konami.
Silent Hill 2 was marked at launch as a game with enhancements for PS5 Pro, however, as with Silent Hill F and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the game runs worse on the updated console than on the base PS5.
