Halo Studios is preparing an announcement for October 24.

A reliable insider claims that Virtuos studio is working on a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved.

According to MrRebs, who specializes in the Halo series, the game will use a hybrid engine similar to the one used in the recent remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

XboxEra confirmed this information, specifying that their source also indicates the involvement of Virtuos, but Halo Studios retains the leading role in the project.
