The famous JRPG will return in an updated format.
Recently, the head of P-Studio (part of Atlus), Kazuhisa Wada, spoke with 4Gamer. He was asked about the previously announced remake of Persona 4 Revival.
The creator stated:
"...Persona 4 already contains a ton of content in Persona 4 The Golden, so when we make the next "R", we won't just add something else, we have to create a gameplay experience that can be enjoyed even more.
And [the remake] includes a huge amount of content, so honestly, it's a difficult task... I have a feeling that everything will turn out great."
When asked about the release date of Persona 4 Revival, he said that he could not name a date and advised to pay attention to Persona 3 Reload Switch, and then added:
"By the way, next year, 2026, the Persona series turns 30, and I hope that fans will be able to enjoy it even more this year."
Fans speculate that he hinted at a release in 2026 in this way.
