Important news for PlayStation Portal owners. Since October, the beta version of the direct cloud streaming service has been updated.

Sony has added two major projects to the device's library, available without a PS5 console — provided you have an active PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.

The first new addition is The Last of Us Part II Remastered. This is the first time the game has officially appeared on a Sony portable system. Previously, it could be run on Steam Deck in the PC version, but with serious performance issues. Sony's cloud streaming eliminates this drawback, allowing you to play without frame rate drops.

The second project is WWE 2K25, which previously did not support direct streaming via PS Plus Premium for unknown reasons.

Players have responded positively to the library update, but note the lack of a system update for the PS Portal itself. Sony recently released new firmware for PS4, PS5 and accessories, but the portable console remains unchanged.

Complaints about connection problems persist, and the direct streaming function remains in beta status longer than expected. Users hope that a full system update for PS Portal will be released soon.
