Fans continue to experiment with the franchise's games.
Recently, a modder with the nickname Cheello released a trailer for the Voxel Duke Nukem project. He decided to transform the shooter using voxels (instead of rotating 2D figures, you can fully see enemies and more):
«All monsters, babes, props and more are completely converted to voxel 3D models. Play through the first three original episodes with voxel assets, getting a modern Duke atmosphere like never before. Hail to the King, Baby».
Cheello did not specify when the voxel remake of the shooter might be released.
