In anticipation of the premiere of the third season of "One-Punch Man," a new trailer with a fragment of the opening performed by JAM Project and BABYMETAL was published on the EMOTION Label Channel.
The new season will continue the Monster Association arc — the fifteenth story arc of Yusuke Murata's original manga.
The director of the third season is Shinpei Nagai, who previously worked as an assistant on Fantasia Sango: Realm of Legends. The production is handled by J.C. Staff, the studio responsible for the second season. Screenwriter Tomohiro Suzuki, composer Makoto Miyazaki, and character designer Chikashi Kubota have returned to the project.
Nagai previously stated that the third season is "unlikely to reach the level of the first," and urged not to criticize J.C. Staff, which, according to him, is focusing on training its own specialists — unlike large companies funded by corporations that poach key personnel from across the industry.
The third season of the anime "One-Punch Man" will premiere on October 5, but according to Anime News Network, a review episode will be released on this day, and the full first episode will be released only on October 12.
