Activision has repeatedly stated that it is constantly updating and improving its anti-cheat system. The latest version even requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot to be enabled.
The Black Ops 7 beta started at 19:00 Moscow time for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers and people who pre-ordered the game. A few hours later, the first cheaters appeared in the shooter on PC, using programs that allow them to see opponents through walls and shoot exclusively in the head.
Black Ops 7 uses, as Activision said, the most advanced Ricochet system, which is supposedly capable of detecting and catching any crook. The anti-cheat is so powerful that it requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot to be enabled on the PC.
Console players are happy that they have the option to disable crossplay.
