Bloober Team previously released the Silent Hill 2 remake and received high praise for updating the classic. Since then, the studio has released Cronos New Dawn and confirmed official work on a remake of the original Silent Hill from 1999.
The studio has also hinted at six other projects, two of which are allegedly related to Silent Hill.
According to the Polish portal Stockwatch, Bloober Team recently communicated with investors. After a question about the studio's current projects, they reported: "We have two teams working on our own projects: one is working on Silent Hill 1, the other has started a new project." Additionally: "five projects are currently being implemented within the second group."
Regarding the collaboration with Konami, Bloober Team clarified: "The Board of Directors has officially announced the conclusion of a new agreement with Konami for one project." This indicates that there is officially only an agreement for the Silent Hill 1 remake.
Despite this, the French site Biohazardultimate claims that the Silent Hill 3 remake will be released in 2028, after the release of Silent Hill 1 Remake in 2027. Other mysterious projects from the studio allegedly include a completely new game in the Silent Hill universe and an original brand inspired by Resident Evil, with an estimated launch in 2026. Two unknown projects and a "parallel Cronos story" without a release date are also planned.
Although the information is based on rumors, a Silent Hill 3 remake seems quite likely, and an original Resident Evil-style game and new Silent Hill projects are generating interest.
