Developer Falcom and publisher refint/games have presented the opening of the crossover fighting game Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, which will be released on October 10, 2025, on PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC.
In the game, the walls between the Ys and Trails series will crumble, providing an opportunity to witness the confrontation of heroes.
Characters demonstrate various skills and perform recognizable and new attacks. The story is fully voiced by actors from both series. In addition to playable heroes, other characters will appear as supporting allies to help achieve victory.
The game features HD and 4K graphics, 60 frames per second support, cooperative and online modes, as well as English voice acting. For PC, there is support for keyboard and mouse, the ability to change the aspect ratio to 5:4 and 21:9, and access to the Material Collection with wallpapers and soundtracks from various Falcom projects. The crossover promises a unique experience for fans of both series, combining the dynamics of a fighting game and a rich RPG aspect.
