The project launched on PC via Steam on May 22.
SEDAP! offers cooperative cooking with combat elements: two aspiring culinary geniuses have opened a mobile food truck and set off for Khaya Island, an abandoned and dangerous place full of monsters and secrets. Players explore the island in search of new recipes and gradually uncover its secrets.
The game features asymmetric co-op for two players: one manages the kitchen, preparing ingredients, while the other goes out in search of resources, fighting monsters. Players will explore the island's diverse biomes, cook popular Southeast Asian dishes such as pineapple fried rice, chicken rice, banh mi, bubble tea, and more, as well as fill the Makanomicon cookbook, unlocking hidden secrets and earning rewards.
Collected resources can be spent on upgrading equipment, weapons, and kitchen tools to be ready for new challenges on the island.
