Earlier, the head of Marvel Studios' streaming division announced that projects such as "Daredevil: Born Again," "X-Men '97," and "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" are planned for annual releases — as long as there is audience interest.
As revealed in an interview with writer Jesse Wigutow for IGN, preparations for the third season have already begun — the writing team will gather next week to begin full-fledged work.
According to Wigutow, the finale of the second season will build a solid foundation for the continuation. The producer promised that the third season will focus on the personal conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, cutting away everything unnecessary and leaving in the center "two men who equally hate and need each other."
The plot of the second season, according to Wigutow, will be more consistent and will focus on the political and criminal influence of Wilson Fisk, who has taken office as the mayor of New York. He will be opposed not only by Matt Murdock, but also by Jessica Jones, who will be played again by Kristen Ritter. The cast also includes Deborah Ann Woll, Wilson Bethel, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Matthew Lillard, and others.
The premiere of the second season of "Daredevil: Born Again" is scheduled for spring 2026. The third season is expected to be released in spring 2027.
