Pre-orders for the ROG Ally portable gaming console have started in Russia — a device from ASUS, created in partnership with Xbox. The new product is available in two versions: the standard model with a 512 GB SSD and the advanced ROG Ally X with an increased battery and a 1 TB drive.
Pre-order is already open in a number of large networks, as well as on marketplaces and from third-party sellers. At the same time, prices vary significantly: from 59,999 and 89,999 rubles to 143,300 and 153,300 rubles in individual stores.
For comparison, in the US, the recommended prices are $599 and $799, respectively. Even taking into account the dollar exchange rate (82.95 ₽ per $1) and 20% VAT, some offers in Russian stores are almost twice as expensive.
The flagship ROG Ally X model is equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and an 80 W·h battery.
The basic version of ROG Ally uses a less powerful AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, has 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and a 65 W·h battery.
The first deliveries of ROG Ally to Russia are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
