Black Day for Steam. Valve's Service Crashed Several Times in a Day
Translated with AI from the Russian original.
Users in Russia and other regions are complaining about problems with Steam availability.
On Tuesday, October 7th, users from Russia began to notice problems with Steam. It quickly became clear that these were not "regional issues."
Steam users from other regions also reported failures. The "Steam Status" service registered several failures in a day: the store was not working, as well as the community and other services.
Some users are building theories about what happened: there is an opinion that someone tried to carry out a DDoS attack on Steam.
