At the time of writing, the game's page on the ESRB website is no longer available, but information about the game with a rating of 17+ has been preserved. It is known that Daybreak Game Company is responsible for the development, and the release is planned only for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, without support for older consoles.
According to the leak, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will offer:
- a story campaign for single player and co-op, as well as "Annihilation" and "Horde" modes;
- control of Xenomorph hunter squad members from DAGGER Company, each with unique skills and weapons;
- pre-installed characters with unique names, personalities and fighting styles;
- "evolution" of enemy artificial intelligence;
- no microtransactions or loot boxes, but DLC with maps and missions may be possible in the future.
If there is already a rating on the ESRB, we can expect an early official announcement of the sequel.
