Analysts have calculated the downloads of mobile games for September 2025 and compiled a ranking of the most downloaded projects.
Mobilegamer.biz has published September's mobile game download statistics based on data from the AppMagic service. The report does not include the Chinese Android segment.
Roblox remains unattainable in terms of the number of installations, despite a noticeable decrease — from a record 33 million for the platform in August to 25 million in September. Analysts attribute the decline to the start of the school year, when the audience had less time for games.
However, the gap with competitors is still significant: the puzzle game Block Blast is in second place with 18 million downloads, and Subway Surfers is in third place with 17 million, which corresponds to the usual indicators of a long-term hit.
The main debutant of the month was Prison Master — a prison escape simulator from the Vietnamese studio XGame. The project is only available on Android, but despite this, it collected 14.7 million installations and secured fourth place in the ranking.
Clash Royale showed the best result in downloads since June 2017 — 11.3 million installations. This allowed the game to rise by 14 positions at once and take seventh place in the top.
