Warhammer Age of Sigmar fans have a reason to celebrate today, as Games Workshop is set to release the Warhammer Quest: Darkwater board game in the foreseeable future, where brave heroes will battle Nurgleites and other dangerous enemies.
Games Workshop has announced the Warhammer Quest: Darkwater board game, which will take place in the Mortal Realms (i.e., the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe).
Unfortunately, the developers are not yet ready to share detailed information about this project with the world, but they have published the box art.
Judging by the image, players will have to fight Nurgleites, plague trolls, and pestigors (beastmen) in the ruins of the Jade Abbey.
The composition of the heroes that can be played looks quite old-fashioned. The art even slightly resembles the cover of an 80s fantasy book. Most likely, gamers will be allowed to transform into a Bretonnian knight, a dwarf scout, some kind of sorceress, and an ordinary knight-warrior.
