Yacht Club Games has announced that Mina the Hollower will not be released on the previously scheduled date of October 31, 2025. The studio confirmed the delay, explaining the need for additional time for final polishing and balancing.
The development team explained that although the game is almost ready, a short delay is needed to meet the studio's standards.
"This is not a serious delay, just a little time for final polishing and balancing to make the game really shine."
The developers added that they can complete the game, but the design, graphics, sound, and overall balance need to be refined before launch.
Yacht Club Games noted that a new release date will not be announced until the game is officially submitted for certification to platform holders.
Mina the Hollower has attracted attention with its retro style and gameplay inspired by classics such as The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Castlevania. The action takes place in a gothic world with many secrets: the player controls Mina, an inventor with a whip, who embarks on a dangerous journey to restore the power of a cursed island.
The release was originally planned for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
