Pre-loading of the Xbox Series X|S version of the puzzle-adventure Keeper from Xbox Game Studios and Double Fine Productions has become available, and the download size of the game has also been revealed.
Keeper can be pre-loaded on Xbox Series X|S consoles, which made it possible to find out the exact file size. The game will take up relatively little space on Xbox - 25.43 GB
The pre-load includes the latest update for digital pre-orders, although a day-one patch may appear closer to the October 17, 2025 release. For comparison, the size of Psychonauts 2 from the same developer on Xbox was 30.24 GB.
As for Double Fine Productions' future plans, studio founder Tim Schafer said in a recent interview that the team is working on "several games" simultaneously with Keeper, and each of them is a new brand. The focus on original projects indicates the studio's desire to expand its creative portfolio, rather than relying on existing franchises.
