Pre-loading of the Xbox Series X|S version of the puzzle adventure Keeper from Xbox Game Studios and Double Fine Productions has become available, and the download size of the game has also been revealed.
Keeper can be pre-loaded on Xbox Series X|S consoles, which made it possible to find out the exact file size. The game will take up relatively little space on Xbox - 25.43 GB
Pre-loading includes the latest update for digital pre-orders, although a day one patch may appear closer to the release on October 17, 2025. For comparison, the size of Psychonauts 2 from the same developer on Xbox was 30.24 GB.
As for Double Fine Productions' future plans, studio founder Tim Schafer said in a recent interview that the team is working on "several games" simultaneously with Keeper, and each of them is a new brand. The focus on original projects indicates the studio's desire to expand its creative portfolio, rather than relying on existing franchises.
