EA Sports FC 26, released on September 26, 2025, showed record sales. In less than two weeks after release, 10 million copies were sold on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. At the same time, 60% of the copies went to Sony console owners.
This is an impressive but expected result for a series that has been a leader in the sports game segment for many years.
September was especially successful for sports projects — in addition to EA FC 26, NBA 2K26 sold well with more than 6 million copies, and Borderlands 4 and Hollow Knight: Silksong were also noted in the PlayStation sales ranking.
The top ten September bestsellers included Silent Hill f (10th place) and Dying Light: The Beast (8th), next to classics like Grand Theft Auto V and last year's EA Sports FC 25.
