The studio is starting to stir up players' interest, reminding them that thanks to collaboration with 3D Realms, the game will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 21, 2025. This time, the developers have presented material demonstrating a new perspective on the shooter series.
The fresh trailer takes players deeper into Purgatory, where they will have to fight hordes of demons, titans, and other creatures. Players will feel the atmosphere of horror, which is accompanied by energetic metal riffs, emphasizing the ruthless nature of what is happening.
Painkiller will return to the series' roots with modern design and new opportunities for team play.
