Development leaders of Ninja Gaiden 4 Masakuzu Hirayama (Team Ninja) and Yuji Nakao (PlatinumGames) told Automaton what players should expect from the new Ninja Gaiden.
Hirayama emphasizes that the main goal of Ninja Gaiden 4 is to give players a"pure action" that the series is famous for. He also notes that while maintaining the traditions of classic games, the new part opens doors for a modern audience.
According to Nakao, despite the emergence of hybrid genres, the demand for classic slashers is still high.
Many series of pure action games of the past are still relevant. I am sure that games like Ninja Gaiden 4 will resonate with those who miss this genre.
Ninja Gaiden 4 will be released on October 21 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and in Game Pass.
