Bethesda agreed to the request, and the community's plan will now be implemented.
Bethesda and its partners previously held an auction: the winner received the right to create their own NPC for The Elder Scrolls 6. A user then bid over $85,000.
The team from the encyclopedia "Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages" competed for the winning spot, but their bid was ultimately outbid. Together with other fans, they wanted to immortalize the memory of Loranna Peirel, an active member of the RPG community and creator of the forum role-playing game Loranna's RP.
Bethesda agreed to the request and offered a second slot, provided that Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages could raise the required amount and make a donation to the Make-A-Wish charity foundation.
The collection was successfully closed, so The Elder Scrolls 6 will now feature two custom characters. UESP members have already met with Bethesda, but have not yet revealed the details of the work.
