Battlefield 6 is out, but promotion hasn't stopped. The developers presented a video showing how they created the shooter's sound atmosphere to make each battle sound as vivid as possible.
Battlefield Studios said that they paid special attention not only to large-scale battles and destructible locations, but also to the music that enhances the tension. The project used both reworked classic motifs of the series and new compositions, including work with real musicians.
One of the participants in the process was the group Limp Bizkit. Fred Durst's team was not limited to famous songs — the musicians recorded new tracks specifically for Battlefield 6. Collaboration with the studio's composers made it possible to combine the band's signature style with the tempo and rhythm of battle scenes.
The results of the collaboration can be heard in the latest video, which shows fragments of the recording and examples of musical arrangement. The developers assure that the sound has become an integral part of the atmosphere of Battlefield 6 — from the first explosions to the last chords on the battlefield.+
