The classic 3D platformer Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is returning in an updated form. After the remaster released in the first half of 2025, the developers decided to release an improved edition — Platinum Edition with additional content and improvements.
On October 16, 2025, the game will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The Argonaut Games team has added a Time Attack mode, 16 new achievements, and a new platinum trophy title will appear on Sony consoles. The game will also feature 25 entries in the "Crocopedia", the ability to change music mixes of the main theme, and quality improvements.
Updates on Switch, Xbox One, and GOG will be released as a patch. But Steam users will be able to get acquainted with the game for the first time through the Platinum Edition. PS4 and PS5 owners will choose which version to download — the original or the new one.
