Forever Entertainment has confirmed that PlayStation and Xbox owners won't have to wait long. Several months after the release, an updated version of the 1998 rail shooter will be released on consoles as well.
The publisher, together with MegaPixel Studios, announced that The House of the Dead 2: Remake will go on sale on October 24, 2025. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The remake retains the structure of the original, but offers completely redesigned graphics, support for modern controllers, and updated lighting effects. The game brings back the atmosphere of classic arcade halls and dynamic battles with hordes of the living dead, now in a modern design.
