After its PC release in May, JDM: Japanese Drift Master from Gaming Factory will be released on November 21, 2025, on Xbox Series X/S. The PS5 version will appear in the first quarter of 2026.
The game is set in Gunma, inspired by the island of Honshu. The story follows Thomas, who comes to Japan from Europe and inherits his late father's garage. Together with Hideo, he delves into the underground world of street racing, upgrades his own car, and battles rivals in several chapters presented through manga-style panels.
A special feature of the game is a huge open world spanning over 250 km, with dynamic weather conditions, day and night cycles, and various tasks. The release version didn't cause a sensation but received updates to improve performance and fix bugs.
In November, the paid DLC Made in USA will be released, adding six American muscle car-style cars and 30 new tuning parts. Release details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
