During the Steam demo festival, you can find many interesting games, but the most attention is drawn to Half Sword — a fun shooter about knightly duels.
According to official Valve statistics, the Half Sword demo is currently the most popular on the platform, surpassing the new installment of Heroes of Might and Magic and Everwind.
What is Half Sword? Players take on the role of 15th-century knights fighting with various weapons: swords, halberds, and hammers. The developers combined historical techniques with fun physics.
«Innovative game technologies allow you to swing weapons and hit accurately using a computer mouse,» the Steam description says. Players fight against AI opponents, and as they rise in the rankings, they face increasingly difficult tasks.
In addition to the funny animation, the game has a lot of blood. The full version of Half Sword is scheduled to be released on PC in 2025, but the exact date is not yet known.
The Steam Next Fest will end on Monday, October 20, at 20:00 Moscow time.
