A total of six more modes are allegedly to be added to the game.
According to Insider Gaming, six new game modes may be added to Battlefield 6 in the near future. The information was discovered in the files of the multiplayer version of the shooter. The following modes are mentioned in the code:

- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Payload/Mode/MUT_Payload
- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Sabotage/Mode/MUT_Sabotage
- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/SquadShootout/Mode/MUT_SquadShootout
- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Strikepoint/Mode/MUT_Strikepoint
- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/TankHunt/Mode/MUT_TankHunt
Journalists also discovered jet skis and rigid-hulled inflatable boats in the code.
