Atari is preparing another gift for fans of retro consoles — an updated Intellivision will soon be released.
The company has once again reminded players of its roots and the history of the gaming industry. To mark the 45th anniversary of the original Intellivision, Atari has announced the release of a new version of the device.
Intellivision Sprint will go on sale on January 20, 2026. The console was created in collaboration with PLAION REPLAI and features an authentic design: a black and gold case and a wood-textured front panel. Technical updates include two wireless controllers, an HDMI port, and a USB connector for expanding the game library.
The device comes with 45 built-in games, including sports games like Baseball, Chip Shot Super Pro Golf, Soccer, Super Pro Skiing, Tennis, Super Pro Football; strategy games like B-17 Bomber, Sea Battle, Space Battle, Utopia; as well as arcades like Astrosmash, Shark! Shark!, Star Strike, Thin Ice, and Boulder Dash.
The official Atari website published complete information about the console and a list of games. You can also place a pre-order there. The price of Intellivision Sprint in pre-order is $163.18.
