ARC Raiders has long been of interest as one of the most anticipated extraction shooters, and it seems the expectations have been met. After the latest pre-release tests, the game instantly broke into the ranks of the most popular on Steam.
The project can be tried for free until the evening — the developers from Embark Studios are checking the stability of the servers before the full launch. Judging by the activity, the test was successful: interest in the game turned out to be high.
The testing immediately gathered an impressive number of participants. According to Steam, at its peak, 189,668 people were simultaneously in the game. At the time of publication, the online presence is holding at the level of 83 thousand players. Even with the current figures, the shooter from the former Battlefield developers has become one of the most popular representatives of the genre on the platform.
According to SteamDB, the leaders remain Helldivers 2 (458,709 players at peak) and Delta Force (247,028). But ARC Raiders has already overtaken its closest competitors:
- Escape from Duckov — 80,509
- Gray Zone Warfare — 72,548
- Arena Breakout: Infinite — 66,007
- Dark and Darker — 57,164
- The Cycle: Frontier — 40,854
While Escape from Tarkov is preparing for release on Steam on November 15, 2025, ARC Raiders is confidently consolidating its position, hinting at a new favorite among extraction shooters.
