This week, fans of reading books about the Warhammer 40,000 universe will be able to pre-order the novel "The Relentless Dead", the novella "Da Red Gobbo’s Last Stand", and various anthologies. Plus, it will be possible to purchase sets with miniatures dedicated to the Chaos Space Marines.
On October 25, Games Workshop will open pre-orders not only for new items for fans of the Ultramarines from the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game. People will have the opportunity to buy miniatures of the Archon from the Dark Eldar Kabal and the Red Gobbo.
Several sets dedicated to Chaos will migrate from Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team. Thanks to the "Chaos Space Marines Legionaries" repack, it will be possible to get 10 Heretic Astartes with 18 head options, 22 interchangeable shoulder pads, an assortment of special and heavy weapons, as well as a sheet of Chaos Space Marines decals.
The "Traitor Guardsmen" set contains 10 fighters, including parts for a squad Sergeant with a chainsword, melee weapon, or power sword. Traitors will be allowed to assemble with one of the following types of weapons: grenade launcher, sniper rifle, plasma gun, meltagun, or flamer.
There is also a set with a Traitor Enforcer, reminiscent of a Commissar, and a Chaos Ogryn. It will be possible to purchase the novel "The Relentless Dead" by Steve Lyons, dedicated to the Death Korps of Krieg.
The book will be available in hardcover, in electronic and audiobook formats, as well as in a grim special edition, which includes the story "The Forge". This edition has a stylish monochrome cover with a canvas effect, painted page edges, and a brown ribbon bookmark with a barbed wire pattern.
The novella "Da Red Gobbo’s Last Stand" by Andy Ewington, in which a gretchin named Bodgit will try to survive in the bowels of a space hulk, will be delivered in hardcover and digital format.
In paperback, you can purchase the anthology "Da Red Gobbo Collection", containing the story "Da Gobbo’s Revenge" by Mike Brooks, the story "Da Gobbo’s Demise" and the story "Da Wrong Type of Green" by Denny Flowers, the story "Da Gobbo Rides Again" and the story "The Instigator" by Ruaridh James.
It will be allowed to buy "Death and Duty" – a collection of 12 stories from various Black Library authors, dedicated to people on the front lines, including three new stories: "The Redoubt" by John Solitto, "Resounding" by Russell Zimmermann, and "Worm of Valhalla" by Tom R. Pike.
The book "Death and Duty" will be available in paperback, in electronic and audiobook format. It will be possible to get the books "Double Eagle" and "Interceptor City" in paperback.
In addition to all this, you can pre-order the anthology "No Peace Among Stars" – in paperback and in electronic format. It contains 16 stories and is dedicated to Space Marines, Astra Militarum and Mechanicum. The above items should appear in stores on November 8, 2025.
