Fans of the Nintendo Entertainment System can now pre-order themed wireless devices thanks to 8BitDo. These include the Ultimate 2 Bluetooth - NES 40th Limited Edition gamepad, the Retro 68 Keyboard - NES 40th Limited Edition, and the Retro Cube 2 Speaker - N Edition portable speaker.
The Nintendo Entertainment System game console went on sale in North America 40 years ago (but it reached the Japanese market two years earlier).
To celebrate this event, 8BitDo has introduced a special collection consisting of three wireless devices – the Ultimate 2 Bluetooth - NES 40th Limited Edition gamepad, the Retro 68 Keyboard - NES 40th Limited Edition, and the Retro Cube 2 Speaker - N Edition portable speaker.
The gamepad has TMR joysticks with RGB backlighting, additional bumpers – R4 and L4, two rear paddle buttons, a trigger mode switch (they are on the Hall effect), tactile bumpers and D-pad, "Turbo" function and vibration. Pre-ordering it will cost $79.99 (6504 rubles).
The keyboard has 68 keys, Kailh BOX Ice Cream Pro Max switches, a fully aluminum construction, RGB backlighting, wireless programmable buttons, and a board with "hot-swappable" switches. Pre-ordering it will cost $499.99 (40,659 rubles).
The speaker, which costs $49.99 (4065 rubles), has control buttons in the form of a D-pad from the original NES gamepad. The gamepad will begin shipping on November 18, 2025, the keyboard in January 2026, and the speaker on December 12, 2025.
