Today, it seems like anything can be turned into a game — from movies and comics to internet memes. A new example is a project based on one of the most recognizable images of the last decade.
Only those who have spent the last few years in isolation haven't seen the dog from the This is Fine meme, calmly drinking coffee while the house is on fire around him. Now this scene will become part of a full-fledged game called This is Fine: Maximum Cope. Players will take control of that very dog and embark on a journey through five worlds, representing human emotions — fear, loneliness, and others.
The developers promise dynamic gameplay, humor, and hand-drawn 2D graphics created by KC Green himself, the author of the original comic that spawned the famous meme.
The release is scheduled for March 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The first trailer has already been published, and a demo is available on Steam.
